ABOUT ME

 Hi Everyone, I'm Kiaan πŸ‘‹

I was born on 17th July, 2009 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
I am not a philosopher or writer but a student and cricket enthusiast. I almost never thought I'd start writing blogs, as no one in my entire family is fond of either reading or writing. I was born into a middle-class family, but still, my parents decided to get me admitted to a highly reputed school in my city.

How I Started Reading Books πŸ“–

Though I have read very few books till now and consider myself immature in many perspectives, how I started reading was quite a coincidence.
I had gone to visit Mount Abu in Rajasthan with my uncle and aunt, and at that time, like any normal kid, I thought I had all the knowledge in the world and all elders around me were fools. Then I visited a bookstore with my uncle — it was famous there — and I found my first book: "The Cycle of Time".
I'll tell you more about what I read on the next page, but this was the point where I started reading... and then I kept reading and couldn’t stop.

What Cricket Means to Me 🏏

Although I’m writing blogs, I'm not a professional blogger — because my life goal is to become a cricketer.
Cricket was the first thing that made me feel peaceful — I felt like all the pressure disappeared when I stepped onto the ground.
I haven’t played the Board Trophy yet, but I’ve reached U-16 district level, and this journey of becoming a cricketer is long. I believe I’ll be able to achieve it.

How Do I Have Time to Write Blogs?

To be honest, I’m not good at studies — just an average student who forgets names easily. My parents are usually scolding me to study.
But I don’t waste time on social media — I invest that time in writing or simply thinking about what to write.
If you take out 8 hours of sleep and approx. 8 hours of work/school, you're still left with 8 hours of free time. Let’s say you give 2–3 hours to your family — that still leaves 5 hours, which is more than enough to read a few pages and reflect on them.
I don’t do any job or earn for my family, so I have a bit more time than most adults — which makes it easier for me to do extra things.

What Are My Hobbies?

I love to read books, of course. I also enjoy watching anime — mostly on Sundays.
I like solving the Rubik’s cube, exercising because of cricket, and learning martial arts or anything new that fascinates me.

This was all about me — nothing too special, just a normal person like you πŸ™‚

-Kiaan
