So, before you skip this blog because of the title, let me explain myself by an example: assume you had a fever today and go to a doctor, but he says you had fever today because 5 days before you got wet in rain. Will you believe it? Just because something happened 5 days before, you are suffering today? Similarly, for something that has happened with you years before, will it affect you today? No past memory — trauma — gives us a shock. It’s our mind that makes it according to our purpose. It’s by the meaning we give them that makes them sad or happy. It’s our thinking that makes an event traumatizing or happy. At last, just think — if something has happened in the past and there is no way to change it, and there’s no way to control the future, why are we stressing our present and not living happily in this moment?
