Stop Aiming for What’s Draining Your Energy: Redefine Your Aims in Life

Image
What is Your Real Goal in Life? Is it to earn more money? Get a high-paying job? Make your family proud? Or just be safe and secure? These would be typical responses — because they are. But pause for a second. Ask yourself honestly: Do I really want to do that? Or is it just what I think I need to do? 🎯 Is Your Goal a True Want — or Just a Need? Here’s something not many people stop to think about: If you want to become a lawyer just so you can support your family — that isn't your real mission. That’s a responsibility. A need. But it’s not your final goal. Same with money. You don’t want it just to stack it. You want what it gives you: freedom, peace, security, comfort, happiness. Don’t mix up the road and the destination. Just because you have to do something doesn’t mean you want to spend your whole life doing it. 💭 Do You Want This Life — or Just Feel Like You Have To? Be completely honest for a moment: Do I truly want the life I’m chasing? Or do I...

The Pain You Carry Is the Pain You Chose

The Pain You Carry Is the Pain You Chose Well, I know it's a bold statement — but not a false one. The pain you're suffering from right now isn't something unavoidable. It's something you chose for yourself. I know many of you might feel like what I’m saying is complete rubbish. But wait till you read the whole blog, and I guarantee you—you won’t remain the same after this. Pain Is Inevitable — Suffering Is Your Choice You're not sad because of something that happened to you in the past or present. You're sad because, deep down, you’ve decided to be . And no — I’m not saying your suffering is fake. What I am saying is this: you chose to suffer , either consciously or unconsciously, because suffering serves you in some way. Maybe it gives you attention. Maybe it protects you from trying. Maybe it gives you an identity. There is a story for the same in buddhism that goes like:- There are two arrows in life. The first one is pain — unavoidable, shar...

3 Life Lessons Cricket Taught Me as a Teen That Changed My Mindset

Image
Cricket is not just a sport to me, it’s been a teacher — one that taught me patience, hard work, consistency, discipline, and belief in myself — things no classroom could have ever taught me. Cricket has been a major part of my life, and in this blog, I'm gonna share it with you. This blog is not about cricket scorecards, matches, or players — it’s about what I learned from it. Hopefully, you'll be able to connect with me and feel what I want to tell you. Well, everything has a start — mine was on 16th August 2021. It was the first day I went to my academy as a batter, and after seeing my seniors, I thought just one month of practice and I’ll be able to play cover drives and straight drives like them. This was my biggest mistake because months passed, and I wasn’t able to do that. That’s when cricket taught me what hard work and discipline really are. The dedication of my seniors was much more powerful than mine. It taught me my first lesson: 1. Discipline and consistency ...

Why 'Past Trauma' is a Myth: A Teenager's Guide to Moving On

Image
So, before you skip this blog because of the title, let me explain myself by an example: assume you had a fever today and go to a doctor, but he says you had fever today because 5 days before you got wet in rain. Will you believe it? Just because something happened 5 days before, you are suffering today? Similarly, for something that has happened with you years before, will it affect you today? No past memory — trauma — gives us a shock. It’s our mind that makes it according to our purpose. It’s by the meaning we give them that makes them sad or happy. It’s our thinking that makes an event traumatizing or happy. At last, just think — if something has happened in the past and there is no way to change it, and there’s no way to control the future, why are we stressing our present and not living happily in this moment? We’re in this journey together. #teen thoughts #stress #mental health #overthinking #self help #mindset #anxiety #trauma #philosophy #growth #teenlife   #mentalhealth ...

Hi everyone, I'm Kiaan. I’m a 15-year-old cricket enthusiast who’s not a writer but lately, I’ve been wondering a lot about how today’s teens get worked up over small things and easily stressed. I want to convey a message: you can be free from this mess of overthinking and anxiety, if you just take a moment to listen. I may be young, but I’ve learned a few things I’d like to share with you. We’re in this journey together.
